1. Apologies

2. Declaration of Interests Councillors are asked to declare personal interests in any items on the agenda. Councillors are reminded that the code of conduct that took effect from 5th June 2007 provides that should they have a prejudicial interest in any matter under discussion, they should withdraw from the room and not seek to influence a decision about the matter.

3. Approval of minutes of meeting held on the 2nd December 2009
Minutes having been circulated were confirmed as an accurate record of the meeting held in December 2009 and were duly signed as such.

4. Democratic 15 minutes
No members of the public were present.

County and District Councillors report
The councillor conveyed apologies.

5. Matters arising

A) Drainage Issues - Progress Report
Cllr Gale continues to liaise with Jeff Morris WCC and keeps the parish council up to date on matters connected with drainage.

B) Village Image - Progress Report - Further to 09/09/09 Meeting - Big "C" next meeting - Ordnance survey map
No progress to report. Cllr Liddell will approach Colin Davis on this matter.

C) Millennium Garden - Maintenance thereof.
Volunteers continue to be sought.

D) Burial ground at St Mary's Church Maintenance
Authorisation of transfer of funds to enable works and future finance
The council authorised the transfer of 10,000 to enable payments to be made. An extra payment of around
200 will be considered at the February meeting. All VAT reclaimable will now be applied for.

E) Update of Emergency Plan
Cllr Rickards continues to update the contacts within the plan.

F) Liaison concerning oil supply
Item deferred to February meeting.

G) Provision of a defibrillator in the village/Village event
Item deferred to February meeting.

H) Provision of bench in the rose garden
Item deferred to February meeting.

I) Notice Board in Queen Street - Refacing thereof
Cllr Black will resurface the noticeboard.

J) Village maintenance - Repairs of damages made by bus
Item deferred to February meeting.
