1. Apologies

2. Declaration of Interests Councillors are asked to declare personal interests in any items on the agenda. Councillors are reminded that the code of conduct that took effect from 5th June 2007 provides that should they have a prejudicial interest in any matter under discussion, they should withdraw from the room and not seek to influence a decision about the matter.

3. Approval of minutes of meeting held on 26th April 2012
Minutes having been circulated were confirmed as an accurate record of the meeting held in April 2012 and were duly signed by the Chairman as such.

4. Democratic 15 minutes
The PC confirmed no planning application has been received regarding trees by the bowling green.
Mike Solamen offered to conduct regular litter picks for which the PC thanked him. A litter grabber will be sought from SDC.
It was noted dropping of litter in Halford is unacceptable and this will be raised in Village Voices.
Grass cutting in The Leys is not being conducted regularly enough. Mike Salmon offered to mow the area between SDC's now reduced grass cuts in the area.
It was requested the bench in the Millennium Garden be replaced in honour of the Jubilee.

5. Matters arising and new matters
A) Drainage, highway Issues and village maintenance - Progress Report
The PC accepted Mike Solamen's offer to mow the grass in the area of The Leys between SDC?s reduced cuts. A timetable will be sought regarding planned cuts by SDC.
Cllr Gale will ask WCC to clear the footpath leading to the bus stop on Bell Hill.

B) Possible grant to the village Jubilee celebrations
A grant will be facilitated to a maximum of 150.00 to be invoiced to the PC in July.
