Co-option of a councillor
Gerald Newell was co-opted on to Halford Parish Council. The appointment will be notified to SDC and Cllr Newell will forward the DPI Interests form to the monitoring officer.

2. Declaration of Interests Councillors are asked to declare personal interests in any items on the agenda. Councillors are reminded that the code of conduct that took effect from 2021 provides that should they have a prejudicial interest in any matter under discussion, they should withdraw from the room and not seek to influence a decision about the matter.

3. Approval of minutes of meeting held on the 3rd of November 2021
Minutes having been circulated were confirmed as an accurate record of the meeting in November 2021 and were duly signed by the Chairman.

4. Democratic 15 minutes
An update was sought regarding current planning applications.
An overgrown pavement was reported as was the effects to the area from parking on verges in Idlicote Road. WCC will be asked for assistance.

5. Matters arising

A) Village Maintenance - Progress Report
A verge by the church has been damaged. The matter is being dealt with under insurance.

B) Halford Village Allotments
Item deferred to May PC meeting

C) To confirm arrangements for the Parish Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Parish Council

A meeting with SDC planners and the PC is being arranged.
This application will go before SDC Planning Committee in due course.
